Chef Natalie Young’s breakfast and lunch emporium Downtown has the best pancakes in Las Vegas; everyone raves about their fluffy insides and crisp edges, and rightly so. They ooze drops of melted butter, and the little jars of Vermont maple syrup served alongside do justice to them. Also on the breakfast docket here are steel-cut oats topped with a cinnamon-roasted apple compote; eggs motuleños, which have red and green chiles and black beans; a terrific, if conventional, Benedict; and great coffee.

My daughter took me to breakfast this morning Sun July 13. This is her 4th trip there and my first. I ordered the pancakes and apple chicken sausage. Asked for the sausage well and crispy, it was served perfectly. The staff from the time we entered the door up till the time we left was super courteous. Our food was served promptly and everything was delicious. This is definately a go back to restaurant. To all the locals like me, you must try this place.
